Other ways that you can help the children that the WHJSC Inc. serves

  The Clinic has a partnership with Verizon. Verizon's Matching Incentive Program provides an opportunity for all eligible employees to have their contributions matched. Employees may contribute to earn a maximum matching contribution from Verizon totaling $20,250 each year, while retirees may contribute a maximum of $15,250.

     Verizon also offers a Volunteer Incentive Program which recognizes employees' contributions and talent to nonprofit organizations where they live and work. Under the program employees apply for a grant for the qualified organization where they volunteer at least 50 hours in a 12 month period. The Foundation rewards them with a $500 dollar check for presentation to the designated organization.

      All of these types of donations are very important in keeping our FREE programs in existence for the youth of our community. Several companies & employers have a matching gift or will match your volunteer time with dollars. Check with your employer for more details.

     The Willie Hutch Jones Educational & Sports Clinic is a proud annual participant in the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County Community Care Campaign and Donor Choice & Community Care Program, the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), and the State Employee Federated Appeal Program (SEFA).  The United Way Community Care Campaign provides donors with a unique opportunity to support a diverse network of human services.  A gift to United Way Community Care ensures that critical needs are met in the community.  In addition to your gift to United Way Community Care you may consider adding a gift designated to the Willie Hutch Jones Educational & Sports Clinics Inc.

     Finally our “GEAR UP A CHILD PROGRAM” which runs year round accepts your second hand sports equipment and supplies. Then we distribute them to local organizations that are at a disadvantage and in need of these supplies.
